The collection of the Neue Pinakothek is particularly impressive because of its French Impressionists and post-Impressionists: Manet, Monet, Renoir, Gauguin, Van Gogh, Cezanne. It features exemplary works by all of these masters.

The museum has much more to offer, however – Caspar David Friedrich, Menzel, Picasso or Klimt, for example. The Neue Pinakothek is the most intimate of the large art museums in Munich. On some days you might even be alone in the rooms of this romantic, post-modern museum building.
