The Petuelpark in Schwabing, opened in 2005, is not only a place for recreation but also for art. Thirteen tonque-in-cheek artworks are scattered around the park waiting for you to discover them.
For example there are a pair of crumpled rubber boots that suddenly spout jets of water – the obligatory fountain. An equestrian statue (see below), a café with a display of cakes made of polyester, a telescope, an aviary, hedge gardens and waterworks. This park has everything you desire. We’ll show you the park and deconstruct the art for you.
Meeting point: Entrance at Leopoldstraße Length of our tour: 90 - 120 min.
