Alte Pinakothek - experience the Old Masters
The origins of the Alte Pinakothek can be traced back to the avid collectors of the House of Wittelsbach. Over the centuries they acquired a truly superb collection. It includes several thousand paintings; around 700 of them are on permanent exhibition in the Alte Pinakothek.
We will skillfully guide you from masterpiece to masterpiece. Join us on our journey through European painting – from Dürer to Leonardo, Raffael and Titian to Rubens, Rembrandt, Velazquez and Boucher.
