Munich’s Centre/Alte Pinakothek/Royal Munich
The Alte Pinakothek was one of King Ludwig I’s grand cultural projects. After enjoying the masterpieces of three centuries, we will walk in Ludwig’s footsteps and experience his architectural vision.
Neue Pinakothek/The Old South Cemetery
Many artists whose works are housed in the Neue Pinakothek are buried in the Old South Cemetery, for example, Spitzweg, Schwind and Klenze. Join us for a stroll through the nineteenth century.
Schwabing and the bohemians/Pinakothek der Moderne or Lenbachhaus
After a tour through Schwabing, which will bring to life the bohemian world of its famous avant-garde artists, we visit the Pinakothek der Moderne or Lenbachhaus to view their works (the expressionists of the Blaue Reiter and Brücke groups).
